From the new Central Commodity System (CCS) bulk seed tanks on top to the high-speed VacuMeter[TM] system at the back, this new split-row planter is built to do one thing: get your crops in the ground quickly.Start with the Central Commodity System. Two tanks per planter carry up to 100 bushels of bulk corn, soybean, cotton or milo seed for fewer stops and faster refilling. A maintenance-free air delivery system supplies each row-unit with clean, undamaged seed for more complete germination. When it''s time to refill, you''ll be running again in no time, thanks to the convenience of centrally located tanks and a sturdy steel filling platform. To assist the operator in adjusting the combine for various crops and conditions, a new TouchSet automatic combine adjustment is available on the new 60 Series STS combines. All required separator crop settings, including the all-new remote shoe adjustment, can be adjusted with the touch of a button in the cab."TouchSet hydraulics are standard on all STS combines. This advanced hydraulic system uses an independent control valve to enable the operator to have infinite variable control over the feederhouse and header raise-and-lower rates. Two control knobs under the armrest console provide convenient operation and the header can be raised manually or automatically." Though light in weight, Airbor magnetic drill has a powerful 1.6-hp air motor and 1,600-lb magnetic holding strength. With its extra rack, stroke length is extended to 10 1/4 in. Annular cutter capacity is up to 2 1/16 in. diam. Geared chuck adapter converts the unit to a standard drill press. The Slugger Air Force pneumatic drill, at 24 lbs, 6 1/4" high, is useful for confined area drilling. The drill''s features include a permanent magnet that turns on or off by air power, a cutter capacity of up to 1 1/16" diameter x 3/4" depth and the ability to use ShortSlugger cutters and frame cutters. These cutters'' geometry allows the operator to drill multi-layered truck frames in a single pass.
